Our Story

At Salon 5th Avenue, our story is told through the hands of our team. We are a collective of artists—each with our own specialty—but united by a shared passion for exceptional service, personalized experiences, and high-end results. What sets us apart is our culture—a space where every guest feels cared for by not just one provider, but by our entire team. From the moment you walk in, you’re part of something bigger—a salon built on collaboration, connection, and a commitment to excellence.

Parker's Project logo and mission

PARKER'S PROJECT

As a mother of two children with autism, I witnessed firsthand the struggle families face when it comes to everyday experiences like a simple haircut. Parker's Project was born out of a desire to change this reality by creating a welcoming and sensory-friendly environment for kids with autism.

Parker's Project started almost a decade ago, when I opened my salon on my days off to donate haircuts to children with autism. Our mission is to make salon visits less stressful and more enjoyable for children with sensory sensitivities, while also educating and equipping stylists and salon owners with the knowledge and skills needed to provide a safe, welcoming, and trauma-free environment.
